COCKROACHES

PUBLIC ENEMY NUMBER ONE

Only a few of the cockroach species found in the United States commonly infest homes and structures.

The German, American, Oriental, Brown-banded, Smoky-brown, Australian, Brown, Field, Asian and Wood roaches infest homes and businesses.

Cockroaches range from the sewer to the kitchen table to orifices in the human body.  They do not discriminate between race, gender, age or status in life, that is why the cockroach is the ultimate survivor.  They will consume anything – no known exceptions.

Cockroaches will walk across the dead corpses of man and animal, then walk across your plate and leave a “pathogen” so strong it cannot be removed by boiling water at 220 degrees for three hours.  Cockroaches have been known to digest the infected secretions of dead humans and pass along whatever disease that person carried.

Cockroaches transmit diseases very easily.

18 species of cockroaches are known to transmit pathogenic agents that cause illnesses and death. The very presence of cockroach allergens can trigger “life threatening asthma" attacks.

Gastroenteritis, abdominal cramps, vomiting, diarrhea and dysentery are all symptoms of food poisoning related to bacteria on cockroach bodies and in bodily secretions.

Salmonella Oranienburg is spread on human food and food containers:

This strain of Salmonella can survive on Corn Flakes for 3 ½ years, on crackers for 4 ½ years and on glass for almost 4 years.

From Bronchial Asthma, Rhinitis to Cholera the cockroach can be the culprit.

Hepatitis:

When you control the cockroaches – YOU control the number of outbreaks of hepatitis and other diseases.

Cleanliness and pest control go "hand in hand",

however, cleanliness will not prevent infestations.

But, cockroaches will not thrive (population explosion)

in a clean environment, therefore, this allows for rapid

and complete elimination.

Keeping the residential, business or industrial work area clean is priority number one in maintaining a pest free environment.  If roaches occur (by whatever means) eliminating them ASAP becomes the first priority.

Employing clean-out methods, Lone Pine Exterminating Company technicians have performed over 25,000 “miracles” and eliminated cockroaches with one spray application.

However, this is not the case every time.  Often, successive treatments are required to eliminate cockroaches from a residence or business with today’s technology.

With proper identification Lone Pine Exterminating Company technicians can service with the correct insecticide and the correct amount in the correct locations. Thereby, controlling cost and insecticide exposures.

When identifying cockroaches and other insects do not handle them without wearing protective gloves.

I hope the following pictures help you to identify roaches more readily.
